Three people injured in crash
Diesel spill cause the driver of a vehicle to lose control.
Three cars crashed in Welgedacht Road, today (April 16) leaving three people injured.
EMPD officials on the scene believe the accident was caused by a diesel spill.
A Polo travelling along the road allegedly skidded on the spillage, causing it to veer into the oncoming lane.
EMPD officials Louis Els and Louwtjie du Toit claim the Polo then collided with a bakkie, and rolled several times.
A Golf then collided with the bakkie, causing a traffic pile up.
Els and du Toit say three people were seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Traffic was severely affected as a result of the crash.
