Sungum celebrates the Day of the Elderly

The event will be held at the Bakerton Community Centre starting at 11.30am.

All efforts have been made to ensure that every senior citizen living in Bakerton has been given an invitation.

This is a momentous event in respect to all them, regardless of their cultural background.

“It gives the Sungum an opportunity to say thank you for their dedication, contribution and nurturing the future of society,” says Kesaven Pillay, chairman of the Sungum.

A scrumptious cultural luncheon will be served.

There will be a presentation of exciting entertainment with song, dance, music, fun filled games and lots of prizes and gifts.
