Disgusted by state of affairs

When reading the advertiser on Thursday, January 30, 2014, I was shocked to see in what state Springs really is.

What is going on with our municipality?

Sports grounds, Parks, the cemetery all these places which are in the eye of the public are left unattended, work is not finished – it’s really an eye shore.

Every week there is a different excuse from them as to what is the problem.

They should know when January starts everything is going back to square one.

They need to cut the grass, they need to see that places and public toilets are in a good working order, as for the cemetery they miserably fail to clean up the cemetery which is in a total state of untidiness.

The soccer, rugby, netball, ringball, jukskei clubs all start practicing in January and the fields they are practicing on are left with long grass and untidiness.

Come on guys we really need you, the municipalit,y to get these fields’ grass cut and tidy so that we can all get practice in as we are representing Springs in the leagues.

Can Metro spokesman Themba Gadebe please investigate this matter?

We will really appreciate it.

From last week there were no heavy rain falls until now so what’s the this time going to be.
