New State Area hell house
Springs resident, Chantal Muller sent a complaint in to the Addie this week.
According to Muller, a house in the New State Area burnt down over three years ago.
The house, which is located on Jacob Street, stands vacant and in a state of disrepair.
In Muller’s opinion, the house is at present still a dangerous hideout for many homeless people or even thieves wanting to target residents and is becoming an urgent matter.
“I visit my my mother-in-law almost every second day at different hours and realise that this house endangers all residents around this property, including myself and my children who fear a hijacking taking place. Consider the risk that is taken to even reside next to this property?”
At the time of going to print, no comment had been received from the metro regarding the matter.
The alleged owner of the property could not be reached for comment.
I am living in New States Area and we as the community have contacted the owner of this property (Markon) last year. He only cut the grass and no more action from his side.
