Morudi Mogashoa (40) and Sifiso Dhladhla (42) from Selection Park and Kwa-Thema, respectively, were each fined R20 000 or faced with six months in prison.
The pair were caught driving 111km/h in an area of the R554 marked with a speed limit of 70km/h and were arrested on the spot.
The arrests happened on July 21, and the sentence was handed down on August 8.
Both parties were sentenced in the Brakpan District Court and pleaded guilty to charges of speeding.
