Locals get their flip flops out for Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa

Flip Flop Day and Flippie stepped up to the forefront to get every South African, young or old, the corporate or casual, the beach-side dweller or the city slicker, to literally wear their heart on their soles on February 17.

Staff from the Springs Advertiser and Non-Finance Cars Springs (NFC) showed off their toes in support of the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa’s annual Flip Flop Day on February 17.

CHOC is an advocate for the fight against this life-threatening illness, offering psychosocial, emotional, and patient-facing support to families, children and teenagers diagnosed with cancer.

The mission of CHOC, which is comprised of passionate, compassionate, committed, and dedicated staff and volunteers, is to save lives through early identification and empower us all to stand up, stand strong, and stand beside these brave little fighters.
