Law enforcement conducts search at Olympia Park School
Law enforcement is cracking down on substance abuse in schools.
On October 14, the EMPD Social Crime Prevention Unit, SAPS and CPF searched Olympia Park School in Geduld.
The operation was conducted for approximately three hours, where school safety and substance abuse were the order of the day.
The search yielded good results as dangerous substances such as dagga, cigarettes and vapes were found on the learners.
This is an ongoing operation aimed at curbing the use of substances in schools, as well as educating on the dangers of using these substances.
