Prize-giving at Selection Park Tennis Club
“We are thankful for our members' commitment throughout the year. We are looking forward to a new year with more exciting events and more members,” said member Deidre Vrey.
Selection Park Tennis Club held its year-end function and prize-giving at the club on December 3.
It was also an occasion to celebrate the club’s champions.
“It was a great evening and a well-deserved way to end a successful year. We are thankful for our members’ commitment throughout the year. We are looking forward to a new year with more exciting events and more members,” said member Deidre Vrey.

She told the Advertiser tennis is a great sport for young and old.
“Tennis is the only sport that gives you a full-body workout. It’s an outdoor/indoor sport, where you breathe fresh air and you can practise social distancing,” she said.
She said it is an ideal sport to play during this pandemic. It is also a sport the whole family can play and enjoy time as a family.
“At Selection Park Tennis Club, we have a lot of families that play. We are a family,” she added.
