A 28-year-old man was killed on Women’s Day at the Bakerton Cemetery.
Police said the victim’s friend reported they went to the cemetery at 08:00 and while there, a man approached the victim and started talking to him.
Seeing the pair in conversation, the friend walked away from them.

He then heard the sound of a gunshot and turned to see the victim running away from the man to whom he had been talking, and then collapsed.
The man, who had been talking to the victim, got into a white Ford with yellow number plates, and drove away.
The police later discovered the bullet entered the victim’s upper body but there was no exit wound.
It appeared to police the victim was shot at close range with a 9mm pistol.
The cartridge has not been found and the motive for the shooting is unknown.
