A 19-year-old teenager’s quick thinking allowed him to escape his attackers during a hijacking in Payneville last Thursday evening.

He told police he was with his friend on his way from Slovo Park to his Mabhokobhoko Street home when he stopped at a tuckshop to buy cooldrink and airtime.

While waiting to receive his items, he was approached by three men wearing masks, two of whom were armed with guns.
