With the enthusiastic home crowd raising their voices in support, the boys in green and gold responded well and played beautiful football.
Particularly delightful was the team’s fifth goal in which the striker broke away from his markers, went on a solo run before crossing the ball to his teammate, who headed it home.
The home team created another chance soon after that but were unable to find the back of the net.
The coach has every reason to be pleased with his team’s efforts and their graciousness in victory after the game.
