The Selection Park Tennis Club has big plans for the coming year.
After a promising start earlier in the year at the Top Guns Tournament, the club hopes to bring their good form to future events.
The club’s B Division finished the tournament in second place.
Club member Deidre Vrey said the club has invited tennis players from Kwa-Thema and Duduza to create a bigger and stronger team.

The club also plans on raising funds to instal a sand court.
During the hard lockdown last year, no tennis was played.
Players hit the courts when the restrictions were lifted and were soon playing at their highest level.
“We have big plans for the year and I hope we can pull them off.
“Last year was a challenge for us all, but I’m sure this year will be better and we can enter more competitions,” she said.
Vrey added everyone is welcome to join the club.
