AfriForum’s East Rand branches donate hand sanitisers and cleaning agents

“Every little bit helps to bring relief and a little happiness,” said Stephanus Blignault, AfriForum’s district coordinator for the East Rand.

These past two weeks AfriForum’s branches in the East Rand have donated hand sanitiser and cleaning agents worth around R20 000 to centres in the area.
Donations were made to The Potter’s Haven children’s home in Strubenvale, Elim rehabilitation centre in Kempton Park and Remme-Los, a self-help centre for people with disabilities in Germiston.
This donation forms part of a bigger donation received by AfriForum from an anonymous donor.

“Many organisations are weighed down by huge financial pressure due to Covid-19.
“Organisations like these are battling and are receiving less donations than usual.
“It is thus important to support one another during these times, especially because we are going into the festive season.
“Every little bit helps to bring relief and a little happiness,” said Stephanus Blignault, AfriForum’s district coordinator for the East Rand.
