Visually impaired man robbed at home while praying

A robber threatened to kill a visually impaired Bakerton man after breaking into his house on 17th Street during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora said the victim was praying when he sensed someone in the room with him.

Realising the victim was aware of his presence, the robber threatened to kill him if he tried anything.
The robber fled the house with a 50-inch TV, valued at R10 000.
He gained entry to the house by cutting the razor wire surrounding the yard and forced open a door with a crowbar.
