“Through this foundation, we are teaching our members and community that a church is not only four walls to pray and sing in, but also an institution to reach out to the community. “We identify the need within the community and try to extend a helping hand where we can. “We decided on donating the masks to the learners because we believe one can never have enough of them. “We also learnt they received two masks each from the department.

Learners from Muzimsha Primary School received masks from True Vine Tabernacle Foundation.

We were worried that should they lose one they will only be left with one. “By adding another one, they will have enough to change and also use when they are at home,” he explained. The foundation will also be teaching the learners some hygiene practices to help curb the spread.

“We are working on a programme to go to schools in the area to teach and help put emphasis on Covid-19 regulations. “We want learners to understand the mask is not only part of the uniform, but should be worn even when they leave their homes,” he added. The school is grateful for the donation. “The donation will go a long way in curbing the spread of the virus within the school premises,”said principal Aaron Magudulela.
