Help Potters Haven send children to preschool

Potters Haven in need of sponsors

The Potters Haven is in urgent need of sponsors for the education of four of the children in its care.

The NPO offers shelter and safety to abused children.

It has, however, fallen on hard times due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and has subsequently been unable to acquire sponsorships to help with the funding of the facility’s numerous operations.

A large portion of the sponsorship money goes towards providing children with a preschool education.

In order to support the children, the organisation will need to raise R4 600.

Malreen Minne, owner of The Potters Haven, says: “Preschool education helps in a child’s emotional, social and personal growth and development.

“Although a child learns at home, preschool encourages interaction and exposure with children of the same age group and teachers help them to enhance their communication skills.”
