Help organisation with donations
Youth on the Move is looking for donations to help feed children in their community.
Tsakani – Youth on the Move (YOTM) is an NPO based in Extension Nine, established in 2016 by Mbali Xaba.
The organisation works hand-in-hand with the community in addressing poverty and assisting families in need.
The organisation is asking for donations to ensure all their beneficiaries and other members of the community who are in need are fed.
Chairperson of the organisation Mbail Xaba says: “Our programmes are aimed at school learners and the youth.
“Most of them are dependant on the school feeding scheme.
“We are pleading with the members of the public to kindly lend a helping hand with food items, donations and winter clothes.
“We have managed to feed over 50 beneficiaries; our goal is to reach over 100 people,” says Xaba.
On Thursday they received five boxes of soya from Rise Against Hunger.
