Vita Nova needs your help
Donations can be delivered to the centre which is located at 2 Fisheagle Road, Daggafontein, Springs.
The Vita Nova Centre has hit hard times since the onset of lockdown and the situation has not improved.
The centre is struggling financially due to their inability to host fund-raising events and asks the community to lend a helping hand.
While they are grateful for the donations that have come in since their plea in the Addie and on Facebook at the start of lockdown, they are still in desperate need of toiletries including soap bars, hand sanitisers, toothpaste and toothbrushes, face cloths and aqueous cream.
Additionally, with the onset of winter, the centre asks for donations of blankets and warm clothing for children and teenagers from ages six to 16; tracksuits are ideal.
These items can be donated at the centre itself, located at 2 Fisheagle Road, Daggafontein, Springs.
However, if you are unable to deliver these yourself, the centre is willing to collect the donations at your location.
