De-clutter for Hospice

Now is the perfect time to de-clutter and clean out those cupboards you’ve been threatening to tackle for some time.

Tired of playing board games, binge watching your favourite series or reading that book?

Now is the perfect time to de-clutter and clean out those cupboards you’ve been threatening to tackle for some time.

Out with the “old or unused” is not just a good clean out, but can be cathartic in these uncertain times.

While cleaning out all your cupboards, remember that Hospice East Rand would be extremely grateful for your unwanted goods.

Brenda Bisschoff, administration manager for Hospice East Rand, says the organisation relies heavily on donations from the community, whether it be monetary or unwanted household items.

Hospice East Rand has 11 charity shops situated on the East Rand and items can be delivered to one of these shops when lockdown is over or for bigger/bulk items Hospice East Rand can collect when lockdown is over.

Although the charity shops are closed during lockdown, they will be open to receive your goods as soon as they are able.

The Springs shop is located at Shop 7, Chalu Place, Nigel Road, Selcourt, and they can be contacted on 011 363 3128.
