Pensioner frustrated by metro

She eventually had to get somebody to help her submit her water reading online after she could not get in touch with the metro.

Strubenvale pensioner Dinah Grobbler is frustrated by the metro after she was unable to get through to them.

“I call the metro every month to give them my water reading and then they tell me how much I must pay.

“However, the past few months, I have been struggling to get hold of them.

“Either the number doesn’t go through or nobody answers the phone,” says Grobbler.

“I’m disabled and elderly, so I don’t have a lot of mobility and I can’t go to the customer care centre.

“I don’t have internet either,” says Grobbler.

Grobbler says she is just trying to pay what is due and needs to know who to contact.

The metro failed to respond in time for publication.
