A 30-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs at the Top Centre Taxi Rank, says Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
While patrolling the Springs precinct, the police k9 unit noticed the suspect acting suspiciously at the taxi rank.
Without hesitation, the police approached the suspect and requested to search him.

They recovered 35 small packets of suspected drugs (nyaope) on the suspects with an approximate street value of R11 000.
The suspect was arrested immediately for possession of drugs and he was detained at Springs SAPS.
He will appear soon at Springs Magistrate’s Court for possession of drugs
