Geduld CPF and SAPS celebrate successful year

Chairperson Derek Brits says: “I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication.

Members of the Springs Police and Geduld Community Policing Forum (CPF) met at Pam Brink sports grounds on Sunday afternoon.

The members discussed their successful year and extended their gratitude toward each other.

Each member of the police and the CPF was given a present, and a jumping castle was set up for the children to play in.

Meisie Richards, Janco Prinsloo, Edwin Dreisen, Irma Brits and Schalk Ackerman having fun on the jumping castle, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

The members were especially proud of their successful pack a bag venture earlier in the year, which they regard as the highlight of the year.

“Our patrols and other efforts have really made a difference in our community, and I think everyone feels a bit safer in their homes.

“I also want to bless everyone and wish them a merry Christmas.”

Derek’s wife, Petro Brits, says: “The meeting was a big success and everyone loved their presents.”
