Robbery at Caltex garage

The suspects had hoodies on and fled the scene in a maroon Ford Bantam.

A garage in Selcourt was robbed by three suspects on Saturday evening.

Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says three suspects entered the shop and one stood at the door and the other two went to the cooldrink section.

The next moment, one suspect pulled out his firearm and pointed it at the cashier and asked for money.

She handed R2 490 over to the suspect and while they were walking out of the shop they took four cellphones and sweets worth R300.

The suspects had hoodies on and fled the scene in a maroon Ford Bantam.

No shots were fired.
