Hope, Faith and Grace aims to mobilise community

When people come to us, we take them on a personal journey with God.

In 2018, Kerry-leigh Wright and a handful of her closest colleagues decided that it was time to make a change in their community and started Hope, Faith and Grace.

The NPO focuses on the various social ills that plague the younger generation of Springs, such as alcohol and drug abuse.

These issues, coupled with the high unemployed rate, put young people in danger of getting involved in crime and other self-destructive behaviour.

“We try and get as involved with the schools as possible to spread our message as wide as possible,” says Wright.

The organisation also helps children who come from abusive homes find direction in life.

Hope, Faith and Grace is a community-based organisation which tries to get people in their community excited about new possibilities and employment opportunities that new projects can provide.

“When people come to us, we take them on a personal journey with God.

“We try and equip them with skills that they will need to manoeuvre through life.

“We work close with the Inner-City Ministries and the Presbyterian Church to preach and get our message out there,” says Wright.

From the bottom of her heart, Wright wishes to thank everyone that has been involved with them and hopes that they will continue to show their support as the organisation goes from strength to strength.
