SA Drift Champs semi-finals showdown at The Rock Raceway.

The drift judges will determine who will be the podium winners in the all-out drift battle in the gold cup eliminations division.

It will be a showdown of drifting with plenty of tyre smoke expected at the semi-final round of the Evolution Wheel &Tyre.

SA Drift Champs will be held at Rock Raceway in Brakpan on October 5.

Drifters will make a last dash attempt to gain maximum points in the series, as the semi-finals roll on before the season’s series wraps up in November.

The drift judges will determine who will be the podium winners in the all-out drift battle in the gold cup eliminations division.

All will not be lost for the competitors who do not qualify to partake in the gold cup as there is a silver cup elimination. The elimination will ensure drifters get a second go at impressing the drift judges and fans, while enjoying the sideways experience and walk off with some silverware in hand.

The drift masters will take to the gauntlet, laid out by the judges, as they try to impress them with their style, flair and sideways antics, without losing the drift.

Drifters from all over the country are expected to make their way to the circuit for the semi-final round of the series.

Bring your ‘one more time’ banners along, together with your friends and family in support of your favourite drifters. Come relish in the sideways malarkey as the drifters purposefully smoke and shred tyres to oblivion.

Patrons can make their way to the Rock Raceway, where gates will open at 10am, with drift practices up until 4pm, when the drift competition kicks off with qualifying runs. Refreshments will be on sale. Bring all your friends, neighbours and family too and enjoy the sideways malarkey.
