Community comes together to rescue duck pond.

The new pump has been secured with cables and clamps to ensure it does not fall into the water.

The Duck Pond has reason to celebrate. It received a brand new pump on Thursday, and water has been flowing into it ever since.

The effort to rescue and maintain the pond from disaster has been an ongoing project of Kathy and Henry Preston.

The previous pump fell and sank to bottom pond in 2016 where the water pressure proved too great for it to pump sufficiently.
