Selcourt Towers shop robbed again

After a while, the guards decided to come out of the toilet. They discovered that one of the big windows in front of the shop was broken with a big rock as well as one of the display cabinets inside the shop.

A pharmacy and beauty shop at Selcourt Towers was robbed in the early hours of last Wednesday morning.

According to Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora, two security guards were on duty when two white vehicles drove into the parking area of the centre.

The one vehicle parked in front of Clicks and the other in front of the ATM next to the shop.

Two men armed with guns got out of the vehicle that was parked in front of the shop and held the security guards at gunpoint and took them to the shopping centre’s toilets and said they must stay there.

After a while, the guards decided to come out of the toilet.

The estimated value of perfume stolen is R70 000.

No injuries were reported and no shots fired during the robbery.
