Three shacks burned down in Never Never
Links says that the fire broke out at around 10pm.
A fire broke out at Never Never informal settlement on Saturday night.
The fire started in one shack, but quickly started to spread and two shacks surrounding it caught fire.
Residents and neighbours tried to battle the blaze with water tanks, but the flames proved to be too strong.
Charles Links says: “We all saw the flames and hurried to try and help.”

Links says that the fire broke out at around 10pm.
Nobody was injured, but the three shacks were burned to the ground.
According to Links, the fire department showed up after the shacks had already burned down.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
A media inquiry has been sent to the fire department.
