Epilepsy SA asks for donations as part of Nelson Mandela Day.

“As the world reflects on Nelson Mandela’s legacy, we give thanks for his life, his leadership and his devotion to humanity and to humanitarian causes.”

On July 18, South Africans will be celebrating the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela.

As part of this celebration, Epilepsy SA asks that South Africans spare 67 minutes of their time to donate to them.

All donations will go towards renovating and upgrading their infrastructure and to improve the living conditions of the residents’ living quarters.

They will be doing similar upgrades to their care centre for the frail in Daggafontein where they are involved in building a stimulation centre for the residents.

In addition to fighting poverty, the Nelson Mandela Foundation aims at stimulating education and literacy, providing food and nutrition for all, as well as improving sanitation and active citizenship.
