Life Springs Parkland Hospital warm up community

“Without the community, we wouldn't be a hospital,” says Barnard.

Life Springs Parkland Hospital staff warmed up the community against the cold as they kicked off their winter community project on Friday morning at the Palm Springs parking lot.

“We are called the Sizanani Project and we’re always looking for ways in which we can get involved in the community.

“Today, with this project, we decided to give soup to the homeless people and we’ve established there are quite a few of them around Palm Springs,” says Elmien Barnard, marketing manager at the hospital.
