Two friends were caught up in a late-night scuffle in Everest, which left one of them dead, at 8pm yesterday evening.
The two friends were walking back from a tavern when a guy confronted them about the money they owed him.
During the confrontation, the two friends were assaulted and one of them managed to run away.

Later in the evening, the two friends were assaulted again and the victim tried to intervene, but was stabbed twice and died on the scene.
The suspect fled after the stabbing and no arrest has been made.
