Man shot while fleeing from suspects on N12

A man was shot on the N12 after fleeing from what he suspects were robbers last Thursday evening.
The victim was inside his car parked on the side of the road when two suspects appeared next to him.

It was then one of the suspects shot at the victim from behind and hit him in the back of his shoulder.
Due to shock, the victim drove his car off the road and into a ditch.
The victim then got out of his car and ran to look for help.

He managed to flag down a police van that was patrolling in the area.
A case of attempted murder has been opened.
