Woman wakes up with a man next to her bed in Selcourt robbery

Together, the suspects took clothes, jewellery, laptop, tablet, four cellphones, a TV and R250 cash.

A woman had a rude awakening in the early hours of Saturday morning when she woke up to find a man wearing a balaclava next to her bed holding her watches in Selcourt.

When she started screaming, the suspect told her to be quiet while another suspect entered the room.

Together, the suspects took clothes, jewellery, laptop, tablet, four cellphones, a TV and R250 cash.

The total value of the goods stolen is R104 000.

It is suspected the suspects gained entry into the home by cutting the electric fence on the neighbour’s side and lifting the sliding door off the track.
