A 57-year-old woman was stabbed to death in Geduld last Monday evening.
According to police, the woman was in her house with her 55-year-old boyfriend and had been drinking alcohol when an argument broke out.

“The suspect says the victim went to the kitchen to fetch a knife and wanted to stab him with it.
“He overpowered her and during the struggle, the victim was stabbed in the neck.
“The victim died on the scene,” says Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
The suspect was arrested at the scene of the crime.
A case of murder has been opened and the suspect will appear in court soon.
