This weekend will be the final voter registration weekend for the upcoming elections.
Voting stations will be open from 8am to 5pm.
The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) says voters should bring their green bar-coded South African ID book, smart ID card or valid temporary identity certificate (TIC).

Passports, driver’s licences, certified copies of ID or any other form of ID will not be accepted.
Alternatively, voters can check their registration status by sending their ID Number to 32810 (R1.00 per SMS) or use the “Am I Registered” portal on the IEC’s website at https://www.elections.org.za/regweekend/
