A couple were rudely awakened by five suspects when they broke into their home in Grootvlei Estate last Wednesday morning.
The pair were asleep in the living room when she heard a noise at the door and awakened her husband.
The suspects immediately went for the plasma TV and the husband started fighting with one of the suspects who was armed with a crowbar.

The suspects fled the scene and the husband sustained serious injuries.
The victim was transported to Life Springs Parkland Hospital.
The woman and the seven-month-old baby were unharmed.
