Missing child in Daggafontein
Siboniso Junior Mogoto (11), from Daggafontein is mentally challenged and is missing.
Siboniso Junior Mogoto (11), from Daggafontein is mentally challenged and is missing.
Siboniso was last seen wearing blue short trousers, a black jacket and black torn Toughees shoes.
According to his stepfather, the child and his niece went to watch a soccer game at the Daggafontein playground.
After the soccer game, Siboniso decided to go home but never reached his place of residence.
His stepfather looked for him but with no success and called the police.
A search task team was formed which involved the K9 Dog Unit, detectives, sector vehicles and the station duty officer.

The search was intensified to the Daggafontein Informal Settlement including neighbouring areas such as the Kwasa Informal Settlement.
Community members also assisted in looking for the child who has not been found.
A case docket of a missing child was opened for further investigation.
“The community is requested to call Springs SAPS on 011 365 5700 or 08600 10111 if the child is spotted,” says Springs Police spokesperson Captain Johannes Ramphora.
