The Young Dynamite Boxing Club enjoys great turnout at first annual tournament.

Fighters come from across the East Rand for boxing tournament.

The Young Dynamite Boxing Club hosted a boxing tournament on Saturday in the Bakerton Community Hall featuring fighters from different areas and clubs.

This was the first annual tournament hosted by the club.

The boxers demonstrated skill and talent.

One of the coaches from Boksburg North Lucy Turner said that she is very proud of how the fighters were able to apply what they learn during their training session.

She said this after Steve Ramashika, one of her fighters, came out victorious in a fight against Nsizwa Mabena from the Scorpion club.

Steve expressed that he feels great about his victory, noting that he has been working very hard.

Coach and manager of the club Bafana Thomas Makoe say that he is very impressed with how the tournament turned out noting that it is the first time the club has hosted a tournament. He adds that they are hoping to host another tournament at the beginning of 2019.

The medals that were won by the fighters were donated by the Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation.

Siphokazi Ndlovu from the Young Dynamites team says she did not expect the amount of support they received and they are grateful for the numbers that came out to support them.
