Parts of Springs without water on Saturday

These Springs areas will be affected by a 16 hour water interruption.

Residents are forewarned of a planned water supply interruption in various Springs areas on Saturday.

The Ekurhuleni Metro says the shutdown and estimated restoration time will be from 7am to 11pm on June 16.

According to the metro, the interruption is due to low water pressure to no water.

The location of the interruption is a Randwater connection.

The affected areas will be Struisbuilt, Selcourt Estate, Kwathema Extension 3, Daggafontein and Nuffield.

Officials will be working on the pipes during the shutdown.

The following tankers will be provided in the area:

• One water tanker roving Struisbuilt.

• One water tanker at the entrance of Selcourt Estates.

• One water tanker roving KwaThema Ext 3.

• One water tanker roving Daggafontein.
