Get ready for the first World Cosplay Summit on the African continent

South African fans will have the chance to compete to represent the country at the World Cosplay Summit in Japan in July.

Icon Comic and Games Convention, South Africa’s longest running comics, gaming, cosplay and pop culture event, will be hosted by Emperors Palace from June 29 to July 1.

The event will take place in The Palace of Dreams’ Red Roman Shed.

Icon CGC is an annual event that has been running for the past 25 years, giving everyone from ‘hardcore geeks’ to the ‘geek-curious’ a platform to gather, play and appreciate the latest advancements in pop geek culture.
