The victim of a house robbery was standing in his yard at 6am in the Gugulethu Informal Settlement last Saturday when he was approached by three suspects, armed with a knife.
They threatened him to get him to open the shack, which was locked.

Capt Johannes Ramphora says the three then took matters into their own hands and used a piece of steel to break open the lock.
The suspects took DVDs, three cellphones, shoes and R400 in cash and fled the scene.
The complainant called his brother and the duo went to the Springs Police Station that evening to open a case of house robbery.
