Bowlers from Springs Town Bowling Club prepare for nationals
Tough competition ahead for Springs Town Bowling Club members.
Five Springs Town Bowling Club members will take part in two national competitions later this month.
Tokkie Hattingh, Shanay Collard, Susan de Vries and Thalitha Coetzee will represent Springs Town Bowling Club at the nationals Warwick Bowls SA Women’s Nationals in Edenvale.
John Molupi will be playing in the Warwick Bowls SA Men’s Nationals in Port Elizabeth.
The five were hard at work practicing for the upcoming competition on Saturday afternoon at the Springs Town Bowling Club.
They were excited to be taking part in the competition and were determined to make their club proud.
“It’s going to be difficult, but I will just do my best and hope I win,” says Molupi.
