“Everyone was asking how we can help, and then we got an email from Hope & Halos asking us to help them on their water collection drive.

“We agreed because we always do community-based work and that is how we got involved in this drive.

“We had initially set ourselves a target of 50 000 litres but we’ve exceeded that.

“The Veritas family really pulled together into making this happen. Our Springs family also got involved and we say a big thank you to them as well,” says David Payaniandi, marketing manager at Veritas College.”

Jaclyn Posthumus, a member of Hope & Halos, was full of praise and gratitude for Veritas College.

“Thank you all so much for your help.

“Hope & Halos, as well as the Rotary Club of Springs, really appreciate it.

“The water will be leaving for the Cape on Tuesday”, says Posthumus.

Those who wish to donate water can drop it off at Veritas College, who will arrange transport to Hope & Halos.
