Showdown at the Rock Raceway
The annual Rockmania Showdown takes place at The Rock Raceway in Brakpan this Saturday.
This first event for 2018 will see competitors compete in the event with a full complement of oval track disciplines that will include Ninja Midgets, 125 Shifter Karts, 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 modified Saloons, 2L Hotrods, Super Saloons, Standard Midgets and V8 Sprint Cars.
The Formula N Circuit cars will also be trackside with all the high-speed antics of the saloon brigade.
Drifters will create clouds of tyre smoke to the delight of the die-hard petrol heads and suicide rides for the drift fans will also be on sale on the day.
This is your chance to get up close and personal with all the drift action.

Gates will open at 10am for practice sessions throughout the day.
Racing starts at 3pm.
