Bianca visits underprivileged school in Devon

“I was touched by their positive attitude even though the roof of two of the classrooms recently caved in,” she says.

This Springs resident was happy to discover the incident took place after the learners had already gone home.

“With only one tap on the premises, situated 300m from the kitchen where 1 000 learners get their food, they set an example for many with their amazing attitude,” she says.

Bianca is known for her motivational talks at schools and this time was no different.

She told the learners to rise above their circumstances, to study hard and to just be themselves.

“It is such an eye-opener to experience the learners and their educators’ positivity,“ says Bianca.
