The incident allegedly occurred last night after 8pm.
Captain Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, says the deceased was last seen by five of his friends who were visiting him.
“They left at around 8pm and reported that all seemed well,” he says.

One of the friends returned this morning around at 8am after the deceased did not answer his phone.
Upon arrival he found the door slightly ajar.
“She entered the deceased’s house and found the victim lying on his side behind the door.”
Ramphora says police were called to the scene and found the deceased with a bullet wound in his stomach.
He was declared dead on the scene.

The body was taken to the Springs Morgue.
Ramphora says no one has been arrested regarding the murder and an investigation is underway.
