Here’s where to report water meter readings

Requests on where to report metro meter readings recently started streaming in to the Addie.

The metro responded with the following information:

Themba Gadebe, metro spokesman says the readings can be sent to William Sesara from their meter reading contractors.

“Residents who don’t have access to emails and telephone can submit their readings to our offices at the Springs Civic Centre in Plantation Road, New Era,” says Gadebe.

The electricity meter reading schedules in Springs are as follows:

Second week of the month: Nuffield, New Era, Fulcrum, Palmietkuil, Golden Springs and all Metering Online meters (MOL) in Springs, Springs, Geduld, Geduld Extension, Springs and Geduld farms, Paul Krugersoord, Petersfield, Persida, Welgedacht and Welgedacht Agricultural Holdings, Bakerton, Payneville, Holfontein farm, Selection Park, Pollak Park, Wright Park, Dal Fouche, Lodeyko, Daggafontein and Rietfontein farms.

Third week of the month: Strubevale, Casseldale, Rowhill, Welgedacht, East Geduld, Moddeeast, Dersley, New State Area, President’s Dam, Krugersrus, Modderfontein farms, Grootvaly Smallholdings, Struisbult, Enstra, Daggafontein, Grootvaly and Vogesltruisbult farms, Selcourt, Daggafontein, Edelweiss, Welgedacht farm, Daggafontein and Rietfontein farms.

Last week of the month: Springs Town.

“Residents wishing to replace their conventional meters with a prepaid meter, at no cost to the customer, may contact their local metro’s energy depot,” says Gadebe.
