Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says the victim claims another suspect, armed with a hammer, approached them as well.

The suspect with the firearm, pointed his gun at the victims, took three cellphones and removed the keys from the ignition before both suspects fled the scene on foot.

“The victims claim their cellphones are valued at R10 000,” says Ramphora.
