Pollak Park’s IPS results

Pollak Park Golf Club hosted its Individual Stableford club competition on Saturday.

Donovan Grobler took first place during the morning game, with 38 points, with Michael Manthe the runner-up, with 37 points.

The afternoon IPS game saw Malcom Foster winning with 38 points, and Grant Gladwin in second place with 36 points on count-out.

The Sunday morning game was won by Sharon Lindeman with 38 points, followed by Tim Bainbridge with 36 points.

In the afternoon, the Junior League played against a Reading Country Club team and lost 3-1.

Every week members play in the Friday Meat Competition and this week Gerhard Gibson won with 39 points.

His runner-up was Gary Schapira, with 38 points.

Niel Porter took the best front nine with 20 points, and John Stopforth won the best back nine with 20 points.

On Thursday, the winner was Margaret Reid with 35 points, while John Wright came second with 35 points on count-out.

Johan Roos took first place during Thursday’s golf game, with 34 points, and his runner-up was Louis Nel, with 34 points on count-out.

This weekend the Gingers monthly game will be played.

The club will also host the Scouts and Springs Boys’ High golf days on Saturday and Sunday.
