A good gesture to the SPCA

Children learn at an early age to open their hearts to charity.

St Catherine’s Nursery School once again donated money to the Springs SPCA.

Children at the nursery school bring money to school every Wednesday as part of the school’s charity donation project.

The money is placed in glass bottles and when the four bottles are filled they donate it to a charity of their choice.

Their annual donation to the Springs SPCA is done during the the second school term.

“We teach the children to care for others even if it is animals,” says Susan Ramos, the principal.

SPCA fundraiser Debbie Miller is grateful for St Catherine’s support throughout the years.

“The money we receive from the school is put to good use and our animal friends are just as happy for all the donations,” she says.
